NX 2 Batch Setting Files (.set files)

These work in Capture NX2 (they may or may not work in Capture NX 1 please test prior to using). Most names are descriptive as to what the batch file does. If you have any questions please post! Please test on copies of your images so that you are familiar with what they do, and so that you do not accidentally alter something you did not wish to alter.

Note: Download to a new folder on your desktop for easy reference.

A short tutorial on how to add the files to Capture NX2:

1) Open up (run) Capture NX2; You need to locate where your batch files are located. To do so click Edit navigate to Preferences and click on Manage Settings.... The window that pops up should look like this:

2) Click on Add

In the Explorer window that pops up, click the drop down arrow 1 time. This shows you where the Settings Directory is located (pictured below).

3) Navigate to the directory and add the .set (Batch setting files) you wish to use into the appropriate folder. Below is an example of the folder Structure as seen on my computer.

*Note: If you have never created a batch setting, the folders shown above may not exist.

4) Close (exit) and Restart (run) Capture NX2 after placing the .set files in the appropriate directory. Then navigate back to the Manage Settings... Window.

5) For each batch setting (.set file) you can add easy access to the Load Adjustments menu by placing a check mark to the left of the batch setting. The Load Adjustments menu is seen below:
